Ordinary people changing the world one life at a time.
The Vineyard DeKalb Church is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation and 100% of our budget is funded by general donations. Your donations cover our personnel, facilities, Sunday worship services, special events and supplies. We invest about 10% of our budget into our global connections and domestic church plants.
We believe that being people who give is an identity, not just an activity. The Bible has a lot to say about being people who give:
Faithful giving draws us closer to God.
“Wherever your treasure is, there your heart and thoughts will be also.” — Matthew 6:21
Faithful giving is the key to a full life.
“Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and should give generously… By doing this they will be storing up their treasure as a good foundation for the future so that they may take hold of real life.” — 1 Timothy 6:18–19
Faithful giving blesses us in return.
“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,“ says the Lord Almighty, ”I will open the windows of heaven for you . I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Let me prove it to you!” — Malachi 3:10
Faithful giving makes us happy.
“There is more happiness in giving than in receiving.” — Acts 20:35
Faithful giving reminds us that everything belongs to God.
“But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth.” — Deuteronomy 8:18
We hope you’ll prioritize the church in your giving. We aim to be people who give 10% of our income. If you can’t start there, why not start giving what you can and then challenge yourself to increase your giving at least 1% each year?
We can accept credit card or ACH donations online at this time, by clicking on the green "DONATE" button at the top of this page. We also accept checks and cash donations during our Sunday morning service. Thank you for your consideration!
